Dog problems…(housebreaking)?
Hey Guys,
So my question is. Ive just adopted a dog that was a stray, and is about 8 months old. She is very good and friendly but, Im having alot of trouble house training her. In my life Ive had more than 8 dogs and none of them were like her. The problem is I take the dog for walks 2-3 times a day about 1-2 hours each session, and she never pees or poops. Only after she gets home does she pee and poop. Ive tried everything you can imagine, and still cant get her to stop holding it in. Any ideas guys?
Ive tried crating her still nothing.

Are you crating her when she is n the house?
Is she going to the bathroom at all on the walks?
If you walk her and she does not go to the bathroom then you come home and you put her in the crate.
Wait an hour and take her for another walk….
The crate will be your best tool for housebreaking.
